36x36 Oil on Birch Panel
I did not arrive.
The light
had been waiting
long before I learned
its name.
I stood still enough
to discover
I had never
been alone.
Found continues Christopher's exploration of the mythopoetic landscape as an interior field of encounter. A solitary figure stands beneath a descending column of light, where vastness becomes intimate and landscape becomes relationship. Rather than depicting a destination, the painting suggests that belonging emerges in the moment we recognize ourselves as already held within a larger presence.
